SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 644

WHEREAS, The Lone Star State became home to a new citizen with the birth of Vivian McRae Engel on April 1, 2009; and

WHEREAS, The daughter of Fort Worth Star-Telegram sportswriters Jennifer and Mac Engel, this little ball of joy has already won the hearts of her parents, extended family, and many devoted admirers; and

WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always cause for celebration, and it is truly a pleasure to recognize this happy event and to honor the delighted members of the Engel family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby heartily congratulate Jennifer and Mac Engel on the birth of their beloved daughter and welcome Vivian McRae Engel as a new citizen of Texas; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for the Engel family as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. Davis
