SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 686

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Juliana Elizabeth Moore of Angleton on the occasion of her high school graduation on May 16, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Juliana has demonstrated exceptional diligence and determination in accomplishing the goals she set for herself, and she has fulfilled all the requirements for a high school diploma; and

WHEREAS, In addition to meeting the basic requirements for graduation, Juliana has shown responsibility and enthusiasm in her participation in 4H and numerous community organizations, such as the Brazoria County Association for Citizens with Handicaps; and

WHEREAS, She has also developed her leadership skills and organizational abilities, and her musical talent has flourished with dedicated practice; Juliana practices the tenets of her faith in her daily life and is a sterling example to all who know her; and

WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of a home school education, Juliana now embarks on an adventure for which she is well prepared and that holds countless exciting opportunities for her; and

WHEREAS, Juliana's accomplishments bear witness to her dedication and outstanding abilities, and she is a source of much pride for her family and her community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby commend Juliana Elizabeth Moore on her scholastic success and extend to her best wishes for the future on the occasion of her high school graduation; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
