SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 687

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Tiffani Ree Foley of Lake Jackson on the occasion of her high school graduation on May 16, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Tiffani has demonstrated exceptional diligence and determination in accomplishing the goals she set for herself in her home school education, and she has fulfilled all the requirements for a high school diploma; and

WHEREAS, In addition, Tiffani has maintained a grade point average of 3.9 in her high school work and in her courses at Brazosport College and has generously devoted time and energy to activities that benefit her community; and

WHEREAS, By achieving her high ranking in the Assemblies of God Achievement Program, she displayed her leadership abilities and her thorough knowledge of Christian doctrine; and

WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of a home school education, Tiffani now embarks on an adventure for which she is well prepared and that holds countless exciting opportunities for her; and

WHEREAS, Tiffani's accomplishments bear witness to her dedication and outstanding abilities, and she is a source of much pride for her family and her community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby commend Tiffani Ree Foley on her scholastic success and extend to her best wishes for the future on the occasion of her high school graduation; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
