SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 756
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Dikita Enterprises, Incorporated, on the momentous
  occasion of its 30th anniversary; and
         WHEREAS, Dikita Enterprises is one of the largest
  minority-owned engineering firms in Dallas; it provides
  planning, engineering, and management services for the
  transportation industry, water and wastewater services, and
  institutional and residential development; and
         WHEREAS, Dikita Enterprises is a certified disadvantaged
  and minority-owned business enterprise and a member of the
  Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; it was founded in
  Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1979 and opened its Dallas office in
  1983 with Lucious L. Williams as president and chief executive
  officer; and
         WHEREAS, In response to industry demand, executive vice
  president and chief financial officer Evalynn Williams organized
  Dikita Management Services to complement the engineering
  division and address the specific and unique management needs of
  transportation agencies as they relate to data collection,
  analysis, reporting, and management; and
         WHEREAS, Dikita Enterprises has provided outstanding
  engineering and management services in the Dallas area, and the
  company's 30th anniversary is an excellent occasion to celebrate
  the many contributions made by Dikita Enterprises to the progress
  and development of the City of Dallas and this state; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
  Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to the owners and
  employees of Dikita Enterprises, Incorporated, on the company's
  30th anniversary and extend to all best wishes for continued
  success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as an
  expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
