SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 840
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize James Tucker, of Quinlan, on the occasion of his
  graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf; and
 
         WHEREAS, James's graduation is the culmination of diligent
  study in a curriculum designed to challenge him and broaden his
  knowledge; he will celebrate this important milestone at
  commencement exercises on June 4, 2009, in the R. L. Davis
  Auditorium in Austin; and
 
         WHEREAS, During his year at the Texas School for the Deaf,
  James has proven himself an outgoing and successful student; he
  earned a Silver Honor Roll certificate, played on the junior
  varsity football team, and participated in the Diversified
  Career Preparation program, where he gained valuable experience
  at Image Microsystems; and
 
         WHEREAS, This bright and ambitious student has numerous
  options to pursue after graduation; he has considered becoming a
  painter or serving in the military; and
 
         WHEREAS, James's time at the Texas School for the Deaf was
  filled with memorable experiences, and he faces the future with
  full confidence in his accomplishments, his skills, and his
  preparation for life; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
  Legislature, hereby commend James Tucker on his graduation from
  the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to him best wishes for
  success in all his future endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
