SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 845

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Matthew Meredith Seliger on the occasion of his graduation from Amarillo High School; and

WHEREAS, After successfully completing his course work, Matthew is receiving his diploma at commencement exercises being held at the Amarillo Civic Center on May 29, 2009; and

WHEREAS, An exemplary young man and a high achiever, Matthew establishes his goals and pursues them with perseverance and clear-sightedness; and

WHEREAS, Matthew has planned well for his future, and his notable achievements at Amarillo High School bear witness to his dedication and outstanding abilities; and

WHEREAS, He now embarks on an adventure for which he is well prepared and a future that holds countless exciting opportunities for him; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby commend Matthew Meredith Seliger on his graduation from Amarillo High School and extend to him best wishes for success in the years ahead; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
