SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 854
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Louise Scarborough-Williams
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Louise Scarborough-Williams, who died
  April 27, 2009; and
 
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Scarborough-Williams was respected in her
  community for her many accomplishments; she enriched all who knew
  her with her kindness, enthusiasm, and joyful spirit; and
 
         WHEREAS, A woman of courage, strength, and compassion, she
  gave unselfishly to others, and her wisdom, generosity, and
  graciousness will not be forgotten by those who knew her; and
 
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Scarborough-Williams was devoted to her
  family; she was the mother of Beverly Scarborough, Emily
  Scarborough Townsley, Maynard Scarborough, and Dawn Scarborough
  Pitts and the grandmother of India Townsley; and
 
         WHEREAS, She will long be remembered with affection and
  admiration by all who were privileged to share in her life; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas hereby
  extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Louise
  Scarborough-Williams; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Louise Scarborough-Williams.
