SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 963

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Stephen Adler for his many contributions to his profession and his community; and

WHEREAS, A partner in the law firm of Barron and Adler, Stephen Adler has for many years specialized in matters of law regarding real estate, eminent domain, and takings; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Adler is much in demand as a lecturer, and he has written numerous scholarly treatises for such journals as the American Bar Association Journal and others; he is a member of the Travis County Bar Association and a life fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation; and

WHEREAS, Active in civic affairs, Mr. Adler serves on the boards of the Ballet Austin Foundation, the Long Center for the Performing Arts, and the Girls Empowerment Network Austin; he is also president-elect for the Austin region of the Anti-Defamation League; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Adler has twice been named a Texas Super Lawyer, and he is highly respected by his colleagues for his outstanding work and his professional accomplishments; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby commend Stephen Adler on his many achievements in the practice of law and his many contributions to the community; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
