SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 976

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize James William Wyant III on the auspicious occasion of his graduation from The University of Texas at Dallas on May 15, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Talented and hardworking, James was a member of the School of Management Dean's Council and a member of the Financial Leadership Association; he graduated from the university magna cum laude with a degree in finance and a degree in accounting; and

WHEREAS, James was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society, the Beta Alpha Psi National Accounting Honorary Fraternity, the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society, and the National Scholars Honor Society; and

WHEREAS, During his senior year at the university, he interned as a financial analyst for Lennox, Incorporated, and he is now a chartered financial analyst level I candidate; and

WHEREAS, James faced the many challenges of higher education with success and distinction, and he is well prepared for a future with countless opportunities; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby commend James William Wyant III on his superior accomplishments and extend to him congratulations on his graduation from The University of Texas at Dallas; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for James William Wyant III as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
