SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 992

WHEREAS, The first annual reunion of the family of Mary Proctor Foster in Fort Worth in July 2009 is a fitting opportunity to celebrate the life of one of the family's distinguished elders, Eva Lee Foster-Stout; and

WHEREAS, The daughter of Mary Proctor Foster and Robert Foster, Mrs. Foster-Stout was born in Kerens on October 26, 1929, and she has lived in Fort Worth since 1941; and

WHEREAS, She was married to the late Harold Stout, and she has been blessed with seven children, 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Foster-Stout devoted her working life to nursing; now retired, she dedicates her life to her family and her faith, serving as an usher at Harmony Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, Eva Lee Foster-Stout is a cherished member of the Foster family, and it is most fitting that she be honored on the occasion of the first annual Foster family reunion; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby pay tribute to Eva Lee Foster-Stout and extend to her and her extended family sincere best wishes for continued happiness and for a memorable and meaningful celebration; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for Mrs. Foster-Stout as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
