Senate Bill No. 2513 (name and confirmation of, and certain fees
imposed by, the McLennan County Groundwater Conservation
District and the authority to create certain adjacent
groundwater conservation districts) to consider and take action
  on the following matter:
         (1)  Senate Rules 12.03(3) and (4) are suspended to permit
the conference committee to add the following:
SECTION 3.  Section 8821.002, Special District Local Laws
Code, is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 8821.002.  NATURE OF DISTRICT.  The district is a

priority groundwater management area designated by the Texas
Commission on Environmental Quality pursuant to Section 35.008,

Explanation:  The addition of the SECTION to the bill is
necessary to recognize that the Southern Trinity Groundwater
Conservation District is in a priority groundwater management
area designated by the Texas Commission on Environmental
  Quality.
