SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1086
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Alyssa Marie Zamarripa for her exemplary work as an
  intern in the office of Senator Kel Seliger; and
 
         WHEREAS, A student at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy
  at Lyndon B. Johnson High School, Alyssa has performed many
  valuable services for the constituents of District 31 and our
  state during her internship in Senator Seliger's office; and
 
         WHEREAS, Alyssa is a high achiever who pursues her goals
  with perseverance and a clear vision of her future; she actively
  seeks to expand her horizons, achieve success, and make a positive
  difference in her community by participating in such school and
  community activities as Spanish Club, the C5 Group, LBJ Cares, the
  Gay-Straight Alliance Club, Con Mi Madre, and band, where she
  serves as historian and trumpet section leader; and
 
         WHEREAS, Noted for her professionalism and strong work
  ethic, Alyssa sets high standards for herself and has worked
  diligently to carry out her responsibilities in the senator's
  office; she is truly deserving of recognition for her valuable
  service during the legislative session; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
  Legislature, hereby commend Alyssa Marie Zamarripa on her
  contributions as an intern in the office of Senator Kel Seliger
  and extend to her best wishes for success in the future; and, be
  it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
