IN RE:	HB101 by Brown, Fred (relating to the formula funding for public institutions of higher education for certain credit hours that do not count toward a degree.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under provisions of the bill, semester credit hours earned before a student graduates from high school that are used to satisfy high school graduation requirements would not be counted for purposes of determining whether the student has exceeded the limit of semester credit hours that can be counted for formula funding.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
