HB152 by Bonnen (Relating to providing for a student who qualifies for automatic admission to an institution of higher education to maintain that status for transferring between institutions in certain circumstances.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Texas Education Code Section 51.8035 to allow automatic admission for transfer undergraduate students for students who would have qualified for automatic admission at the time of their high school graduation and meet other listed criteria.

There would be no significant fiscal impact on the state as the bill would not affect overall state enrollment in institutions of higher education

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
