No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code, Chapter 531, Subchapter B by adding 531.0973 to require the Health and Human Services Commission Executive Commissioner to adopt rules to create a career ladder for persons who provide intervener services under the Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) Medicaid waiver program.
 
It is assumed any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.
