No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code relating to certain personal information contained in a decree of dissolution of a marriage or in an order in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship. Personal information, as defined, would be maintained in a confidential separate document which could only be disclosed under certain conditions.  To the extent the bill would require a modification in judicial proceedings, no significant increase in judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
