No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code relating to access to certain information contained in a decree
of dissolution of a marriage or in an order in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship. The bill
would require the Supreme Court to adopt rules restricting access to personal information in suits
affecting parent-child relationships and divorce decrees. To the extent the bill would require a
modification in judicial proceedings, the fiscal implication to the State is not anticipated to be
significant.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
