No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Education Code and provide that the Employee Retirement System enter into an interagency agreement with the Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board to market the pre-paid tuition program and higher education savings program to state employees. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
