No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to include fire stations as capital improvements for which impact fees may be used. The bill would also require a political subdivision to exempt certain nonprofit organizations from the imposition of an impact fee that is to be used for those capital improvements.
