No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code relating to an award of additional periods of possession of or access to a child for certain conservators who have returned from active military deployment.  To the extent the bill would modify court procedures relating to terms of possession, no significant increase in judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
