IN RE:
HB527 by Leibowitz (Relating to the removal of an appointed emergency services district board member by a county commissioners court.), As Introduced
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to authorize a county commissioners court to remove an appointed board member of an emergency services district, except a member appointed to fill a vacancy in an elected board member position, for failure to give or file a certain report or audit. The bill provides the procedures that the commissioners court would be required to follow.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
