No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to include a justice of the peace in the definition of "state judge" for the purpose of allowing a justice of the peace to request omission of the justice's address from the election registration list.

The bill would amend the Government Code to include a justice of the peace in the definition of "state judge" for the purpose of allowing a justice of the peace to use the justice's courthouse address in lieu of their residence address on the license and to indicate on the license the justice's status as a judge.
