No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require certain counties to specify job qualifications for all Sheriff Department positions, and would prohibit persons who are required to be licensed by the state from receiving a salary until licensing requirement(s) are fulfilled.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
