HB605 by Farabee (Relating to state employees mileage reimbursement.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Government Code and require the Comptroller to include safety considerations when determining the number of miles that are eligible for reimbursement by state employees. The bill also requires the safety considerations be incorporated into the state mileage guide no later than December 1, 2009. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
