HB623 by Harless (Relating to the regulation of massage establishments.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code as it relates to the regulation of massage establishments.

The bill would authorize massage establishments to provide services only between the hours of 7am and 10pm and require the entrance doors to a massage establishment to remain unlocked during business hours.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
