Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

The bill would require school districts to update local curriculum, provide professional development, and possibly purchase supplemental materials to cover the additional health-related topic requirements in the bill. Administrative costs to school districts could vary considerably among districts.
