HB815 by Gonzales (Relating to the hours of sale for liquor.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 105.01 to allow holders of a package store permit for premises located in a county that borders the United Mexican States to sell or offer for sale liquor from noon until 9 p.m. on Sunday.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.

 

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) and the Comptroller of Public Accounts anticipate no significant fiscal impact to their agencies or the State.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
