No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to grant commissioned law enforcement officers of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service the powers of arrest, search, and seizure for any offenses committed within the boundaries of the National Wildlife Refuge System. 

 

The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education anticipates no significant fiscal impact to their agency.
