No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the governor to designate the Mid Valley Airport as the state headquarters for providing disaster relief in the Rio Grande Valley following the governor’s declaration of a state of disaster in an area within the Rio Grande Valley.  The bill would be effective immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds or on September 1, 2009 if it receives a majority vote.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
