IN RE:
HB894 by Laubenberg (Relating to the creation of the Van Alstyne Municipal Utility District No. 2 of Collin County; providing authority to impose a tax and issue bonds; granting a limited power of eminent domain.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
It is anticipated that requirements for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality related to the creation of the district could be absorbed within existing resources.
Local Government Impact
Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
