The bill would amend the Family Code relating to the designation of the primary residence of a child in certain parenting plans for joint managing conservatorship. To the extent the bill would amend court procedures regarding criteria for parenting plans, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.
