No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family Code relating to the standard possession order for possession of a child by a parent. To the extent the bill would amend court procedures regarding standard possession orders, no increase to the workload of the courts nor any fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
