HB1062 by Burnam (Relating to the sale of ale and malt liquor by brewer's permit holders.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add Subsection (c) to the Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 12.01 to allow certain holders of a brewer’s permit to sell ale and malt liquor to ultimate consumers on the permitted premises in unbroken packages not to exceed 35,000 gallons annually and for consumption on the brewery premises if the brewery is located in an area where it is legal to sell ale and malt liquor.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.

 

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) anticipates no significant fiscal impact to their agency.
