No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code to require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to publish online sample residential property insurance rates. The bill authorizes TDI to pass rules regarding the implementation of the bill. TDI indicates that any costs incurred from the implementation of this bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
