HB1256 by Allen (Relating to requiring the posting of notice of voter complaint information at a polling place.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require presiding judges in polling places to post notices in a form prescribed by the Secretary of State that would inform voters of who to contact if a voter has a complaint about the conduct of the election.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
