IN RE:
HB1500 by King, Tracy O. (Relating to certain exceptions to the prohibition on hunting from a public road or right-of-way.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to allow for the capture, trapping, or hunting of a reptile, amphibian or insect from a public road or right-of-way. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department anticipates any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the department's existing resources. The bill would take effect immediately with two-thirds vote of the members of the House and Senate. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2009.
