No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require twenty percent of funds from the Texas Enterprise Fund and thirty percent of funds from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund to be used to promote alternative energy sources and energy efficiency technologies.  The bill would be effective immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds or on September 1, 2009.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
