HB1654 by Anchia (Relating to the appointment of high school deputy registrars in certain counties.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require each high school principal to designate four people as deputy registrars. The four deputies must be either employees of the high school or employees of the school district in which the high school is located and who are serving at the high school. The provisions would apply only to a public or private high school that is located in a county with a population of 100,000 or more and that has five or more employees.

 

The bill would be effective September 1, 2009.
