No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code by adding an affirmative defense to prosecution for the offenses of sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault.  It is assumed that the bill would not have a significant impact on the State. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
