No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Department of Aging and Disability Services to conduct a study to determine the costs and benefits to the state of initiating a pilot program to provide services to adults with autism. A report would be required to be submitted no later than September 1, 2011.
The agency indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.
