HB1933 by Thompson (Relating to restrictions on holders of package store permits.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal Sections 22.04 and 22.05 of the Alcoholic Beverage Code, relating to the number of package stores an individual may hold or have an interest in their business or permit, and the consolidation of package store permits by one person or two or more persons related within the first degree of consanguinity.

 

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) anticipates no significant fiscal impact to their agency.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
