No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend statute and provide for the election of the commissioner of insurance. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources. There would be a minimal revenue gain associated with additional filings fees.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
