No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code to increase from $25,000 to $50,000 the maximum threshold amount that certain port commissions may not exceed when making routine or emergency purchases or contracts.

Local Government Impact

The proposed change in statute would provide greater flexibility in making purchases. No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
