HB2080 by Anchia (Relating to the information on the supplementary birth certificate of an adopted child.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend section 192.008(a) of the Health and Safety Code relating to the information provided on supplementary birth certificates. The bill would no longer require that adoptive parents listed on the certificate be a male and a female.  It is assumed that any cost with implementing the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
