HB2249 by Hunter (Relating to the regulation of staff leasing services.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Section 91.001 of the Labor Code to establish definitions of working capital for the purposes of license applications of assurance organizations. The bill would also establish electronic filing guidelines. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation would be required to adopt rules to implement the provisions of the bill.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation anticipates that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
