HB2456 by Eiland (Relating to insurance agent qualifications to sell certain products or product lines.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to insurance agent qualifications to sell certain products or product lines. The bill would require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to designate by rule which product or product lines cannot be sold without a certification. TDI indicates that any costs associated with this bill could be absorbed within current resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
