No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code regarding the termination of a parent-child relationship and the duty to pay child support in circumstances involving mistaken paternity. The Office of the Attorney General anticipates any legal work resulting from the passage of this bill could be reasonably absorbed with current agency resources.
