No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize a county commissioners court by order to adopt standards and specifications for the design and installation of address number signs to identify properties located in unincorporated areas of the county and to place certain requirements on the owners or occupants of those properties. It would be a Class C misdemeanor offense for a person to knowingly fail to or refuse to comply.
