No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

 The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to ambulatory surgical centers and to the provision of services at those centers by certain designated physician groups.  The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) would be required to draft rules to implement the provisions of the bill.  DSHS has indicated that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be absorbed within existing agency resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
