HB2846 by Riddle (Relating to the admissibility of certain hearsay statements made by a child abuse victim. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by changing the age requirement for hearsay statements of child abuse victims and applying to statements that describe the alleged offenses.  It is assumed that the bill would not significantly affect the operations of state or local government. 


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
